By purchasing through this website you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions laid out below.

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a Consumer.

Definitions:

"Buyer, Customer" means the Consumer who buys or agrees to buy Goods on this website from Mirror-Mirror.

"Goods, Items, Products" means all products listed on the order and the order confirmation e-mail

"Consumer" has the meaning given in section 12 Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977

"Delivery" means the delivery of the Goods to the delivery address specified on the order.

"We, Us" means Mirror Mirror Partership.

Risk and Ownership:

The Goods shall be at the Buyer's risk once delivery has taken place. The Buyer must take all reasonable care of the Goods. Should the Goods be returned to Mirror-Mirror having been damaged while in the Buyer's care, the cost of such damage will be recovered from the Buyer. Ownership of the Goods will only pass when cleared funds have been received from the Buyer, regardless of whether delivery has taken place.

Limitations of Liability:

Our total liability in regard to the performance of this contract shall be limited to the value of the Goods. Mirror Mirror shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential losses, costs or expenses incurred or any consequential compensation arising out of the performance/or non performance of this contract. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law. All contracts shall be governed by English Law. Any order placed by the Buyer and accepted by Mirror Mirror is subject to the following terms and conditions unless specified in writing by one of the partners of Mirror Mirror.

Orders:

A confirmation of your order will be sent automatically by e-mail and, unless you are notified to the contrary the order will be deemed to be accepted by Mirror-Mirror. Mirror Mirror retains the right to refuse any order and will in these circumstances reimburse the Buyer in full. Order acceptance, and the completion of the contract between you and Mirror Mirror will take place on the dispatch of the products ordered by you, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

• - The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
• - Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
• - The identification of a pricing or product description error
• - You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms & Conditions
   

Fraud Prevention:

Mirror Mirror retains the right to investigate any order placed on this website that it suspects to be fraudulent, any such order will not be delivered until it is proven that that the order is bona fide. Should Mirror Mirror be unable to prove that an order is bona fide or to contact the Buyer then the monies will be refunded to the original card used to place the order and the order will be cancelled.

For your protection, to ensure that your credit or debit card is not being used fraudulently, we will validate your name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information.  Please be assured that this is only done to confirm your identity. A credit check is not performed and your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. In the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.

Description of Goods:

The description of the goods will be as specified within the confirmation e-mail and it is the Buyers responsibility to check that the Goods specified are as the Buyer intended to order. All sizes given are approximate. We will take every reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order.

Payment:

Full payment is required at the time the order is placed and Mirror Mirror will collect the payment from the debit/credit card details supplied. All Prices and charges on this site are in U.K. pounds and include any V.A.T payable at the prevailing rate. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery. We accept Paypal. A 2% surcharge applies to all PayPal payments. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours.

Refusal of Transaction:

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any products or content on this Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our:

• withdrawing any product from this Website whether or not that product has been sold;
• removing or editing any materials or content on the Website;
• refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

To be eligible to purchase products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under English law you must:

• Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information
• Be over 18 years of age
• Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us

By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

Deliveries:

Delivery will normally take place within the timescales estimated on the order acknowledgement (and in any case within 60 days), however this is only an estimate and time shall not be the essence of any order. Some smaller Goods may be delivered by post or courier and certain ranges of bathroom mirrors and furniture will be delivered direct by the supplier. All deliveries are carried out by a professional independent delivery company. After consignments are dispatched, Mirror-Mirror will not be held responsible for any delays suffered by the delivery company. Any date specified for a delivery to take place is regarded as a preferred date and, while every effort is made to deliver consignments on preferred dates, this is not guaranteed by Mirror-Mirror or by any third party working on behalf of Mirror-Mirror. Certain Goods will require some form of assembly and it is the Buyer's responsibility to assemble the Goods. Delivery will only be made to the delivery address specified on the original order.

Guarantees:

All Goods are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of delivery.

Image Disclaimer:

The images of mirrors shown within our catalogue, photographed either by Mirror-Mirror or provided by the manufacturer, are as accurate as is available at the time of uploading the image to the web site. Some images may have been digitally cropped or altered to correct perspective distortions and improve general clarity. Owing to the problems inherent with photographing highly reflective surfaces, some images of bevelled glass mirrors have been digitally generated in order to provide a clearer depiction of how the actual mirror will look.
Please note that the product you receive may appear slightly different in colour owing to variations in the equipment used to produce and view the images.

Faulty Goods:

Complaints relating to faulty Goods should be notified in writing within 7 days of the fault becoming apparent and should be addressed to Customer Services, Mirror Mirror, Claremont Lane, off Oxford Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO12 7PJ or by e-mail to admin@mirror.mirror.com

In the rare event that Goods develop a fault, Mirror Mirror retains the right to have the Goods repaired or replaced at Mirror Mirror's discretion, and any delivery costs associated with the exchange of faulty Goods will be met by Mirror Mirror.

Where Goods are reported as faulty later than seven days after delivery, we reserve the right to arrange an independent inspection and if the Goods are found on inspection to not be faulty but the result of fair wear and tear, negligence or wilful damage, Mirror Mirror retains the right to charge £40 for the inspection to cover its costs. This charge will be taken from the debit/credit card used to purchase the Goods. The Buyer and Mirror Mirror shall both agree to be bound by the results/findings of the independent inspector.

Refunds:

Refunds on Goods cancelled prior to delivery will be made as soon as possible following written notification of cancellation and in any case will not exceed a period of 30 days of that written notice. All refunds will be made onto the credit or debit card used to make the original purchase, or if payment was made in another way the refund will be made using the same method. Refunds on Goods already delivered will take place as soon as possible following the collection, return and inspection of such goods and in any case will not exceed a period of 30 days following that collection/return.

Cancellation:

The Buyer may cancel the goods at any time within 7 days of delivery by giving Mirror Mirror notice of the cancellation in writing or in another durable medium.

Returns

The Buyer may return goods to mirror-mirror.com for a full refund within 7 days of receipt.  The Buyer is responsible for returning goods at their own expense. The parcel and its contents are the Buyer's responsibility until accepted back into stock by Mirror Mirror.  We do not accept liability for loss or damage of return goods in transit. Returned goods will be inspected on receipt by Mirror Mirror Staff and, once deemed to be complete and in satisfactory re-saleable condition, Mirror Mirror will accept the returned goods.  A full refund for the price of the goods will be made within 30 days.  Refunds cover the value of the goods only and not the cost of any delivery services contracted by the Buyer at the time the main contract for the goods was placed.  We reserve the right to withhold refunds in full or in part for goods that, following inspection, are considered to be have been damaged or returned in an unsatisfactory condition.  Items that have been produced to order in bespoke designs, sizes or colours may not be returned unless faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.  

From time to time Mirror-Mirror may agree to assist a Buyer by arranging for a courier to collect and return goods on a customer's behalf. This does not affect the terms and conditions of return as stated here and liability and title of the goods remains with the Buyer until all goods are accepted back into stock by Mirror Mirror. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to satisfy themselves that packaging and method of transportation are of an acceptable standard.
